Overview
This artwork policy pertains to products purchased from Signs N At, LLC, d.b.a. Signs N' At, d.b.a. Edgewood Pack and Ship. Any references to Signs N' At and/or Edgewood Pack and Ship refer to the company Signs N At, LLC (the Company).
Purpose
Signs N' At is committed to providing our valued customers with high-quality, print-ready artwork for signage and graphics. As such, we expend resources at our expense in order to develop these graphics; a service for which we do not charge our customers. This policy has been developed in order to clarify the rights associated with the development of these graphics.
Ownership Rights
With very limited exception, the Company retains the rights to the artwork that we, the Company (either with our employees or independent contractors to whom we have provided a fee) have produced, including but not limited to the following: graphics developed or modified for the purposes of printing, including signage, menus, and other printed products, including logos - this includes drafts and other graphics developed but not printed; graphics developed in conjunction with bids and/or quotes (renderings); and/or graphics developed in conjunction with permit applications.
Exceptions
Exceptions to this policy include graphics that Signs N' At has specifically developed as a commissioned designer and for which payment was received, specifically, for these services, documented in writing, and/or graphics that are copyrighted by other individuals for which Signs N' At received notification, in writing, of this copyright and for which the person seeking design services has the authority to grant Signs N' At the rights to modify these graphics.
Licensing
For graphics protected by this policy, Signs N' At can, at its discretion, offer a revocable limited use and/or fee-based license, or subscription, for the usage of these graphics, or, at its discretion, relinquish its rights in writing.
Remedy
In the event that one chooses to use graphics developed by Signs N' At in any and all other fashions, including but not limited to fabricating, printing, and/or posting, either through digital or analog means, Signs N' At reserves the right to seek damages including, but not limited to: compensation at a rate determined by Signs N' At for the use of such graphics, actual damages or, in the event that actual damages cannot be determined, liquidated damages of $5000 per occurrence, and/or legal fees, including fees incurred in the pursuit of remedying, or attempting to remedy, violations and/or perceived violations of this policy.

Revision 1 of this policy is effective 14 April, 2022 and is not applicable to any graphics developed on or before this date.
